There is at least one outfit that can be unlocked in nearly every chapter of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Chapters 9, 11, 15, and 16 are the only exceptions because they focus more on moving the plot forward and boss fights with little-to-no exploration elements. Drax, Gamora, and Groot all have opportunities to use their talents to help Star-Lord solve these problems. Occasionally, reaching the outfit location requires Star-Lord to call upon a teammate for some assistance. It is set to officially release across all major gaming platforms on October 27, 2021. As of this writing, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is not yet available, though. Lastly, there is a choice system in place in the game that affects your relationship with your team, as well as the outcome of certain missions depending on your decisions and the things you say during dialogue. Also, you build up a meter during combat that lets you perform a special ability called Team Huddle where you make a motivational speech and play a song for your teammates, granting various bonuses and special effects. Each one features a unique skill that can be chained for even greater effect. Instead, they are AI-controlled and you, being Star-Lord, can issue commands to them and help you in battle. The other members of the Guardians are present, but can't be controlled manually. You will be able to use a variety of skills and equipment from his arsenal, including his elemental guns to defeat enemies and his jet boots to fly and maneuver your way through the air. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is played in a third-person perspective, and you will take on the role of Star-Lord/Peter Quill.
