Annually he helped organize many events and activities for the Stoughton community and attend state and national conventions.
He taught 8-12th grades, managed the SASD greenhouse/animal facilities, students hands on programs, FFA Arboretum and Advisor to the FFA, and FFA Alumni. Jerry Wendt (President) Educating young people/ adults in agriculture was his career for 32 years. Members serve on three-year terms and each member serves on at least one committee. SACF Board members meet monthly to discuss future plans and needs of the Foundation, review policy and finances, discuss grants, and to keep members current on the latest committee information.
